Welcome to your official website of Burns Bog!

MK Delta Lands Group plans to develop 89 acres on the east side of Highway 91 and another 193 acres on the west side of Highway 91 of Burns Bog that was not part of the covenant area 2004 purchase. Check the Burns Bog Ecosystem Review - A downloadable PDF summary of the 2000 Ecosystem review of Burns Bog conducted by BC's Environmental Assessment Office.

You can see for yourself why these parcels of land are so important to the bog. Every time you nibble at the edge it effects the water mound and the bogs survival.

All of MK Delta Lands Group were part of the original purchase plan, but they refused to sell the land to the four levels of government.
